G63 specifics: where film wears worst
Side steps. People step on them, sand grinds the film like sandpaper. On an active G the steps may need rewrapping in a year. Budget +30,000–50,000 ₽ every 2–3 years.
Spare wheel on rear door. The bracket loads the door and abrades the film underneath. We recommend a separate film piece under the bracket or matte film to hide wear marks.
AMG front bumper. Only experienced installers handle this geometry — many small facets requiring separate pieces. A standard "universal template" plotter creates 1–2 long seams that look ugly.
Grille ("nostrils"). Often wrapped in matte black film simultaneously with PPF on the rest, to avoid coming back later.
